The second webinar of the webinar Series “Building Resilience through Data, Governance and Communications“ will take place on Friday 29th of May 2026 11:00 CEST. This session will focus on „Govenance in Crisis: Decision-Making Under Uncertainty“. It will explore how decision-making under uncertainty can be better supported through structured, collaborative approaches. It will introduce the Risk-Tandem Framework, developed within the DIRECTED project, which provides an iterative process for aligning stakeholders, framing risks and supporting joint decision-making. Drawing on practical applications, the session will illustrate how the Risk-Tandem Framework can be applied in diverse contexts.

We will hear from the experts in governance, collaboration and decision-making under uncertainty: Dr Pia-Johanna Schweizer (RIFS at GFZ), Dr Sukaina Bharwani (SEI), Natascha Ng (SEI) and Dr Holly Faulkner (UCC), as well as reflections from members of DIRECTED’s Real World Lab communities on applying the discussed tools at grassroots level.

Register here now or watch it afterwards on Youtube.
